Azienda Agricola Maisano forms part of the Montiverdi winery. The MONTIVERDI Winery is a very old location on a large hill near the town of Gaiole in Chianti, in the middle of the Chianti Classico production area.

The land was owned by Stucchi Prinetti Family (Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico) since the beginning of 1700. Due to the fact that the MONTIVERDI property was not close to the Badia, little by little, the Stucchi Prinetti's left the entire property to its present owners.
